NOV 12, 2020 AHS Targeted Restrictions Application

House Of Wheels will remain open for Booked Drop In riding. 

  • The Ban is on "Indoor Group Fitness Classes and Team Sports", and "Does NOT include Individual Sports, Exercise, Training or Equipment Use"
  • Our Operations do not fall under the banned activities.

Coached School Fields Trips and Group Lessons will NOT be available for the 2 week Ban.

Please make sure you have booked your ride time online. If you are not feeling well or have come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 Please Do Not Come.

We ask and expect all customers to continue to adhere to social distancing reminders visible throughout the park. Along with wearing a mask where required.

We feel that we are doing our part to ensure we are providing a safe environment to allow our customers to continue to enjoy action sports. We understand that some may choose to not participate given the current Pandemic Situation and respect that choice. 

GENERAL

Implement measures to facilitate physical distancing (2 meters)

  • Use floor markers in lineups

  • Establish modified facility capacity limits

    • (Reduced by 50% in June; Reduced by a further 20% October 26)

    • Current ridership capacity: 40
  • Pre-book sessions (by phone beginning September 2020; online beginning November 1)

  • Install physical barriers at registration and payment points

 

Posted signs reminding patrons who have returned from international travel or who have been in close contact with a known case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days, that they cannot enter the facility.

 

Encourage frequent hand washing and hand sanitizing and provide hand sanitizing solution throughout facility.

 

Installed signage encouraging physical distancing (2 meters) throughout the park.

  • Posted Signs on ramp decks indicating Max capacities of each staging area

 

Ventilation systems operational and functioning full time.

 

Clean and disinfect washrooms and water fountain frequently.

 

Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of all high-touch surfaces.

 

Use contactless payment options where possible.

 

SEATING AREA

Encourage parents and/or spectators to consider not attending on evenings, weekends, and holidays when the park is at, or near capacity. 

  • When spectating, please remain in seating area boundaries (signs posted)

 

Arrange tables and chairs so that a 2 meter distance is maintained between each seated group.

  • No more than 6 individuals should be seated at a table. (15 for birthday party spaces)

 

Coordinate Birthday Party bookings to limit to one party in the facility at a time (with maximum 15 guests per party); maintain two party spaces so groups are not entering/leaving the same space.

 

Capacity: There is no cap on capacity for restaurants, cafes, etc. However, individual groups  (parties, riding partners etc.) are to be 15 people or less.

 

WORKERS

Frequent self-assessment and screening of employees.

Wear non-medical masks whenever interacting with patrons at a distance of less than 2 meters.
